Putin orders government to stabilize coal prices until August 1

MOSCOW, Jan 10 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the government to stabilize the coal prices until August 1, according to a report released on the Kremlin website on January 6.

"The Russian government… shall take measures to stabilize the coal prices and ensure uninterrupted supplies to the producers of thermal energy and to the population, including conditions to sign contracts with the organizations with the licenses for production and processing of coal as a priority," the statement read.

Putin also ordered the government and Gazprom to push forward with the gas supply program in the republic of Dagestan and to report on the issue until March 1.

He separately ordered to consider relocation from dilapidated buildings, for which mortgages were not repaid. The report is slated for May 1.
